Description
This is a jar that contains a part of the stomach.
This is known by the presence of mucosal folds (rugae) and the presence
of two lines of omenta on the serosal surface. The specimen shows a
rounded perforation about 1 X 1 cm.
Diagnosis
Perforated peptic ulcer of the stomach.

A: an ulcer that develops due to exposure to gastric juice.
