495 - Is showing peeling of the skin of the hand and fingers from a case of prolonged submersion under water (one of the probable signs of drowning). The skin of the hand and fingers separated in the form of gloves; and fingerprints are present both in the fingers and the peeled skin. N.B. Peeling of the skin means separation of the epidermis from the dermis, due to collection of putrefactive gases in-between them.
