439 - Is showing a case of infanticide by cut throat.

It is formed of the head and neck; the trunk and the upper limbs of a full term and live-born infant (signs of maturity and signs of live-birth), with a transverse and deep cut wound in the neck, severing vital structures.

The wound is ante mortem as detected from the presence of gaping and bruises infiltrating the edges.

The infant died from hemorrhage, as detected from the marked pallor of its body.

Note the presence of a ring of hyperemia around the base of the umbilical cord stump, denoting live-birth and survival "1" day after delivery.
