429 - Is showing a case of infanticide by strangulation, using the umbilical cord as a strangling agent, tying it around the infant's neck.

Note signs of maturity, live-birth and asphyxia in the infant.

The placenta was left attached to the cord, which was not cut from the body; to simulate accidental strangulation of the fetus by its cord during delivery; but the presence of signs of respiration in the lungs and Tardiu spots, are against this false allegation.
