SLIDE (75): PAPILLARY CARCINOMA, THYROID.

Section of thyroid gland showing:

·         A malignant tumor formed of malignant irregular glandular spaces lined by malignant columnar epithelium with   papillae formation covered by multiple layers of malignant cells. Solid masses of malignant cells are also present.

·         The malignant cells are pleomorphic with large vesicular (open face) nuclei and frequent mitosis.
