Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Fallopian tube.
- 2 small pieces of tissues.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- Rupture at the ampullary portion of the tube.
- The floating piece of tissue is mostly the uterine cast (separated
decidua).
- The 2nd piece of tissue is a tubal mole (fertilized ovum showing
chorionic villi & clotted blood).
Operative Diagnosis :
Salpingectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Ruptured ectopic tubal pregnancy.
