Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Tube & ovary (cut section shows corpus luteum).
- The tube is distended with 8-10 weeks gestational sac.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- Rupture in the wall of the tube.
- Intact amniotic sac is seen bulging from the site of rupture.
- A window in the wall of the tube to show a big haematoma.
Operative Diagnosis :
Salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Ruptured ectopic tubal pregnancy.
