Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Sagittal section of:
- Pregnant uterus.
- Fetus.
- Placenta.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The placenta is completely separated.
- Big retro-placental haematoma.
- Subperitoneal haemorrhage.
- Extensive fissuring of the peritoneal surface.
Operative Diagnosis :
Post-mortem specimen.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Concealed accidental haemorrhage (Couvelair uterus).
