Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Puerperal uterus.
- Adenexae.
- Strip of vagina.
- Strip of the vulva.


Pathological Diagnosis :
- The endometriai cavity is lined by shaggy yellowish necrotic pyogenic membrane.
- Retained piacental fragments attached to the fundus.

Operative Diagnosis :
Post-mortem specimen.

Provisional Diagnosis :
Puerperal sepsis.
