Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Cut section of the ovary.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The ovary is enlarged & cystic.
- Cut section of cyst shows that it is unilocular, thick walled , lined
by skin & contains, a tuft of hairs & papillae.
Operative Diagnosis :
Ovariotomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Dermoid cyst of the ovary Benign cystic mature teratoma of the ovary.
