Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Cut section of the ovary
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The ovary is enlarged & cystic.
- The cyst is thin walled. Uni-locular containing clear fluid.
- The cyst is opened & the interior surface shows endophytic papillae.
Operative Diagnosis :
Ovariotomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Papillary serous cyst adenoma of the ovary.
