Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Tube & ovary.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The ovary is enlarged & cystic.
- Its pedicle shows torsion.
- The outer surface of the ovary is dark red due to torsion.
Operative Diagnosis :
Salpingo-ovariectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Torsion of an ovarian cyst.
