Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Fallopian tube & ovary.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The ovary is enlarged & cystic.
- Cut section shows unilocular cyst with thin wall, with minimal
adhesions on the outer surface.
Operative Diagnosis :
Unilateral salpingo-ovariaectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Serous cystadenoma of the ovary.<
