Anatomical diagnosis:
A specimen shows:
- Uterus (bisected).
- Both tubes
Pathological Diagnosis :
Irregular ill-defined polypoidal growth spread over the endometrium &
infiltrate the myometrium with areas of haemorrhage & necrosis.
Operative Diagnosis :
Total abdominal hysterectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Uterine malignancy for differential diagnosis
(Endometrial carcinoma).
