Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Uterine body with transverse section at the fundus.
- Fallopian tubes.
Pathological Diagnosis :
Transverse section at the fundus shows multiple wide cystic spaces with
dark altered blood (honey comb appearance).
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Adenomyosis for histopathological confirmation.
