Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Uterine body (incised longitudinally).
- Fallopian tubes.
- Right ovary.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- A single solid well circumscribed rounded mass is present in the left
broad ligament with the Fallopian tube stretched over it.
- Cut section of the masse shows whorly appearance with areas of dark
red discolouration.
- Thickened endometrium & myometrium.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy & right salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Broad ligament fibroid with red degeneration.
