Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Body of the uterus (cut section).
- Fallopian tubes & ovaries.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- Cut section of the uterus shows a single solid well circumscnbed
rounded mass with whorly appearance in cut section.
- The uterine cavity is distorted with thickened endometrium.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Interstitial fibroid.
