Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:

- Cut section of the uterine body.
- Fallopian tubes & ovaries.

Pathological Diagnosis :
- The uterine cavity is distended by single solid well circumscribed elongated mass which is filling the uterine cavity & protrudes into the region of the cervix.
- Thickened myometrium.
- Both tubes are distended & show thick wall & peritubal adhesions.

Operative Diagnosis :

Subtotal hysterectomy & bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

Provisional Diagnosis :
Submucous fibroid polyp & bilateral pyosalpinx
