Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Body of the uterus.
- Fallopian tubes.
- Both ovaries.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- A window is done in the anterior wail of uterus showing a single solid
well circumscribed globular mass filling the uterine cavity.
- Thickened myometrium.
- Left ovary is slightly enlarged.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy & bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Submucous fibroid.
