Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Body of the uterus (bisected). - Fallopian tubes.
- One ovary
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The uterine cavity is distended by single solid well circumscribed
rounded mass with whorly appearance in cut section.
- Thickened myometrium.
- Multi-locular ovarian cyst.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy & unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Submucous fibroid & ovarian cyst.
