Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
Body of the uterus ( bisected ).
Fallopian tubes.
Pathological Diagnosis :
The uterine cavity is distended by single solid well circumscribed
rounded mass with whori1 appearance in cut section.
Thickened myometrium.
N. B. The lower part of the mass was removed to demonstrate the dilated
uterine cavity.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Submucous fibroid
