Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
- Body of the uterus (incised longitudinally).
- Fallopian tubes.
Pathological diagnosis :
- The uterine cavity is distended by single solid well circumscribed
globular mass with areas of haemorrhage in the lower part of the mass.
- Thickened myometrium.
Operative Diagnosis :
Subtotal hysterectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Submucous fibroid.
