Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows :
- Cut section of uterus.
- Fallopian tubes.
- Both ovaries.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The cut section of the uterus shows multiple interstitial fibroids
(describe).
- Both tubes & ovaries are fused together forming thick walled swellings
& surrounded by dense adhesions.
Operative Diagnosis :
Total Hysterectomy & bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Bilateral pyosalpinx & multiple fibroid uterus.
