Anatomical Diagnosis :
A specimen shows:
One Fallopian tube.
Pathological Diagnosis :
- The fallopian tube is enlarged & distended forming a retort shaped
swelling.
- The wall of the swelling is thin & surrounded with fine adhesions.
- The abdominal ostium of the tube is closed.
Operative Diagnosis :
Salpingectomy.
Provisional Diagnosis :
Hydrosalpinx.
