Specimen:
Open bladder and bisected prostate.
Gross Pathology :
1. The bladder is enlarged with thick trabeculated wall.
2. The prostate is enlarged and projected into the bladder cavity forming an oval mass 5X2 cm, with nodular cut section.
Diagnosis :
1. Nodular hyperplasia of the prostate.
2. Hypertrophy and trabeculation of the bladder (due to bladder neck obstruction).
