Specimen:
Bisected kidney with upper part of ureter.
Gross Pathology :
1. The kidney is slightly reduced in size.
2. The outer surface is irregular and shows multiple small depressions.
3. The cut section shows reduced cortex, yellowish in color (fatty change).
4. The pelvi-calyceal system is dilated and shows rough mucosa covered by purulent exudates.
5. The ureter is dilated.
