Specimen:
Two bisected kidneys
Gross Pathology:
1. Both kidneys are reduced in size with finely granular outer surface
showing scattered small cysts.
2. Cut section shows reduced cortex, indistinct from medulla.
3. There is apparent increase in the peri-pelvic fat.
Diagnosis
Benign nephrosclerosis; end stage kidney
