Specimen:
Half of a foot.
Gross Pathology:
1. The cut section of the foot shows multiple irregular abscess cavities showing necrotic contents as well as black granular material (fungal colonies of mycetoma).
2. The inflammatory and necrotic processes involve both soft and bony structures of the foot.
3. Some abscesses open on the skin surface by sinuses.
Diagnosis:
Madura foot.
