Specimen:
Sectioned lung
Gross Pathology:
1. The cut surface of the lung shows numerous scattered small caseous foci (2-3 mm).
2. The tracheobronchial lymph nodes show yellow caseous foci and anthracosis.
3. The covering pleura shows greyish white fibrous thickening and fibrous adhesions.
Diagnosis:
1. Miliary tuberculosis of the lung.
2. Pleural fibrosis and adhesions.
