Specimen:
A section of the shaft of a long bone (femur).
Gross Pathology:
1. The medullary canal shows a non- capsulated infiltrating tumor mass.
2. The femur shows marked destruction resulting in a pathological fracture.
Diagnosis:
Metastatic tumor of the femur, associated with pathological fracture.
