Specimen:
Part of tibia.
Gross Pathology:
1. The upper part of the tibia is destroyed by a large non-capsulated mass measures 20X10 cm.
2. The cut section of the mass is pale bluish grey and semitransparent with whitish foci of calcification and areas of hemorrhage and necrosis.
3. The mass has sharp edges indicating firm consistency.
4. The tumor is infiltrating the medullary canal and the knee joint.
5. The articular cartilage is not destroyed.
Diagnosis:
Chondrosarcoma of the tibia.
