Specimen:

Lower end of femur, upper end of tibia and patella.

 

 

Gross Pathology:

1. The lower end of the femur is expanded and destroyed by a non-capsulated mass measures 8X6 cm and shows a multilocular cut section exhibiting hemorrhage and clotted blood.

2. The tumor is surrounded by thin shell of cortical bone, which is irregularly eroded.
