Specimen:
Section in the cerebellum.
Gross Pathology:
1. The cut section shows a cyst filled with liquefied gelatinous tissue.
2. The upper part of the cyst shows a greyish white nodule projecting inside the cyst cavity (mural nodule).
Diagnosis:
Cerebellar astrocytoma.
