Specimen:
A segment of aorta with the adjacent para-aortic lymph nodes and mesentery
Gross Pathology:
1. The lymph nodes are enlarged and fused, forming a mass, with homogenous fleshy greyish cut section.
2. The aorta is compressed.
Diagnosis:
Malignant lymphoma of the para-aortic lymph nodes.
