Specimen: 

A mastectomy specimen composed of breast, pectoral fascia and pectoral muscle.

 

Gross Pathology:

1. The breast shows an infiltrative non-capsulated greyish white mass measures 6X3 cm.

2. The nipple is infiltrated and retracted. The skin is granular (peau d’orange)

 

Diagnosis:

. Infiltrative duct carcinoma of the breast
