Specimen:
A sagittal section of a female pelvis.
Gross Pathology:
1. The posterior lip of the cervix shows infiltration by greyish white growth with areas of hemorrhage and necrosis.
2. The tumor extends downwards invading the upper part of the vagina, anteriorly invading the urinary bladder and posteriorly invading the recto-vaginal septum and the rectum.
Diagnosis
Carcinoma of cervix [Stage 4].
