Specimen:
A segment of ileum
Gross Pathology:
1. A blind-ended pouch, 10 cm in length is seen arising from the
anti-mesenteric border of the ileum.
2. The wall of the pouch is continuous with the intestinal wall.
Diagnosis
Meckel’s diverticulum.
