Specimen:
Part of stomach wall.

Gross Pathology:
1. The mucosa shows a round ulcer measures 1x1 cm.
2. The ulcer has sharp edges, terraced margins and perforated base.
3. Around the perforation, the serosal covering is dull, opaque and yellowish due to fibrin deposition.

Diagnosis:
1. Perforated gastric peptic ulcer.
2. Septic peritonitis.
