Specimen:

Part of the stomach.

 

Gross Pathology:

1.  The mucosa shows two ulcers.

2.  A larger deep oval ulcer 3X2 cm destroying the muscle

3.  A smaller shallow round ulcer 1X1 cm.

4.  Both have sharp edges, terraced margins and grayish clean floor.

 

Diagnosis:

Multiple gastric peptic ulcers.
