Specimen:
Longitudinal section of the trunk showing the lower part of right lung, diaphragm, right lobe of liver, kidney and hepatic flexure of the colon.

Gross Pathology:
1. The liver shows a large irregular abscess cavity, 10 cm in diameter, with brown shreddy necrotic wall.
2. The abscess perforated the diaphragm and opened into the base of the right lung, leading to the formation of another smaller abscess cavity in the lung.

 Diagnosis:
1. Amoebic liver abscess perforating through the diaphragm.
2. Amoebic lung abscess.
