Specimen:
Two slices of the liver.
Gross Pathology:
1. The cut surface shows multiplesmall abscess cavities with irregular
yellowish necrotic lining.
2. The very tiny cavities are due to post-mortem autolysis
Diagnosis:
Pyaemic abscesses of the liver.
